Wes was recruited to play linebacker for Air Force. After five years on active duty, he jumped into the world of commissioned sales in 1997 then founded The Sales Whisperer® in 2006. Since then, he has spoken around the world, written a couple of books and thousands of blog posts, published over 700 podcasts, and raised seven children with his wife of 29 years. He will dive deeply into the hard-fought lessons so you can accelerate your growth and income and minimize your pain.

Mickey Patterson (right) is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, former Army Communications Officer, entrepreneur, and real estate investor.Wes Schaeffer (left) is a 3-stripe brown belt who Mickey says doesn't cry too much for a guy his size.Mickey and Wes first met in early 2000, worked in tech together for a bit, and roll when Wes makes it out to the DFW area to see his family.

He became the Hawaiian state champion as a blue belt in 1998.He initiated a combative program for his battalion several years before the Army adopted the Gracie Combative Program.With over 20 years of experience as a BJJ instructor, Mickey, now a 3rd-degree Black Belt from JD Shelley under Robson Moura Nova Uniao, continues to train and teach daily at Peak Performance BJJ in Keller, Texas.He's also a seasoned rugby coach.
Currently the Director of Rugby for the Dallas Reds, the 2022 National ChampionsAs founder and head coach of Gorilla Rugby Academy, he has trained and developed several athletes who are now playing rugby professionally or for their National Team.Mickey's unique blend of engineering logic, military discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit shapes his coaching philosophy.
